Today, the Akim of the district, Zhandos Yerkinbek, received representatives of the intellectual community who arrived in the district to promote the spiritual heritage of Maral Ishan and Kalkai Ishan.
The meeting was attended by Kanat Saparbai, Editor-in-Chief of the publication promoting the President’s policies and addresses, Koishyghul Mustafa, editor of “Kazakh” Radio, Yergazy Aldanazarov, Director of the Kyzylorda Regional Center for the Protection of Historical Heritage, Murat Tokpanuly, Chairman of “Maral Nur” LLP, and a descendant of Maral Ishan, Mukhamejan Omarov.

During the discussion, the participants emphasized the special place of Maral Ishan and Kalkai Ishan in the spiritual history of the Kazakh people and shared their views on the improvement of pilgrimage sites, provision of infrastructure, and the current state of construction works in those areas.

District Akim Zhandos Yerkinbek noted that honoring the legacy of ancestors is a sacred duty before future generations. He assured that due attention will be given to the historical and spiritual importance of these sacred places and that concrete measures are being implemented to develop infrastructure, construction, and landscaping.

Public figures expressed gratitude to the district leadership for their attention and support, emphasizing that honoring historical personalities has great educational and moral significance.
