24 September 2025, Montreal, ICAO Headquarters. On the margins of the 42^nd Session of the ICAO Assembly, the Head of the Delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Chairwoman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport, Ms. Saltanat Tompieva and the Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to ICAO, Mr. Timur Tlegenov, held a working meeting with Mr. Hassan Shahidi, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Flight Safety Foundation.

During the meeting, the Parties discussed issues related to enhancing flight safety, implementing international standards, and exchanging expertise in the field of civil aviation. Both sides expressed mutual interest in establishing cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Foundation.

For reference: The Flight Safety Foundation is an international non-governmental organization established in 1947. The Foundation promotes best practices and standards in aviation safety, conducts incident analysis, and disseminates knowledge aimed at reducing risks in civil aviation worldwide.
