The athletes of the Karaganda region performed brilliantly at the Asian Aquatics Championships. The continental championship takes place in the Indian city of Ahmedabad. Participants compete in four disciplines: swimming, diving, water polo and artistic (synchronized) swimming.

Representatives of the School of Higher Sports Excellence of the Karaganda region made a real splash in artistic swimming. The result was a triumph – 28 medals: 19 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze.

The athletes demonstrated a high level of training and skill, proving that the Karaganda aquatics school is one of the strongest on the continent.

Among the winners are Nargiz Bolatova, Ksenia Makarova, Viktor Druzin, Karina Magrupova, Yasmin Tuyakova, Arina Pushkina and Dayana Dzhamanchalova. Synchronized swimmers have won awards in individual and group programs, as well as in duets and mix duets.
