Baghdad, October 6, 2025. A ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq to present copies of his credentials from H.E. Mr.Talgat Shaldanbay, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Iraq, residing in Amman (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan), to H.E. Mr.Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq.

During the meeting, practical steps to expand cooperation between Kazakhstan and Iraq were discussed. The parties noted the importance of developing political dialogue and strengthening cooperation in trade, economic, and humanitarian spheres.

Ambassador Talgat Shaldanbay emphasized Kazakhstan's readiness to actively work to further deepen ties between the two countries.

Minister Fuad Hussein wished the Ambassador success in his tenure, expressing confidence that his work will contribute to the advancement of bilateral relations.
