Meeting between KazAID and Indonesian AID within the framework of the 6th IsDB Dialogue

From 7 to 9 October 2025, in Jakarta, Indonesia -  B. Zhakupov, Director of the Department for Partnerships and Regional Projects, and A. Tuimebekova, Senior Manager of KazAID, took part in the 6th Dialogue Meeting of Development Cooperation Agencies of the IsDB member countries. The event was organized by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) in cooperation with the Indonesian Agency for International Development (Indonesian AID) and the Palestinian International Cooperation Agency (PICA).

The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen partnerships among development cooperation agencies of IsDB member states. The event gathered over 30 representatives of donor organizations, including AIDA, EAPD, TİKA, ATCT, Indonesian AID, PICA, and others.

During the visit, KazAID representatives met with the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, with the participation of A. Tanbay, Counselor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Indonesia, where the parties discussed the prospects for signing a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of Official Development Assistance (ODA).

In addition, a meeting was held with Mr. Dalyano, Head of Indonesian AID, during which the parties agreed to develop joint projects and exchange Kazakhstan’s experience and expertise in ODA statistical reporting.
