On October 8 of this year, Kurchatov Mayor B.T. Abdraliev met with the newly appointed Public Council. The event was held in the format of an open and constructive dialogue. Key issues related to the city's socioeconomic development, the implementation of current initiatives, and the key areas of interaction between the executive branch and the public were discussed. Particular attention was paid to improvements, the development of social infrastructure, and improving the quality of life for residents. Members of the Public Council expressed their proposals and initiatives aimed at further developing Kurchatov and improving the effectiveness of public outreach. The Mayor noted the importance of open dialogue with civil society and emphasized that the Public Council is a key mechanism for resident participation in city governance. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to meet regularly and work together to address pressing issues.
