On October 7, an extraordinary meeting of the Kurchatov City Public Council was held. The meeting considered the application of Public Council Chairman B.E. Bekmagambetov to remove him from the council, the election of a new chairman, and the inclusion of a new member to replace the one who had resigned for the remainder of his term in accordance with the procedure specified in paragraphs 9 and 10 of Article 9 of this Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Public Councils." By open vote, by a majority vote, B.E. Bekmagambetov was removed from the Public Council, D.V. Sarayev was elected chairman, and Zh.E. Shaushimova was included in the Public Council from the reserve.
