«Our President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich said: «We must continue to diversify the economy with renewed impetus. Priority must be given to the production of highly processed products that are competitive in both domestic and foreign markets».
Our region has a favorable investment climate, and large-scale projects are being implemented. From 2022 to 2024, approximately 1 trillion 600 billion tenge in investments were attracted to the region's economy.
This year, efforts are underway to attract more than 631 billion 400 million tenge in investments. Over the past eight months, 408 billion 200 million tenge in investments have been attracted, and Kyzylorda Region has taken first place in the republic in terms of plan fulfillment. By the end of the year, the plan will be exceeded to 716 billion tenge by the launch of new projects. $280 million has been approved for foreign direct investment, and $172.9 million was raised in the second quarter of this year, achieving 62% of the plan.
Today, we have gathered for the grand opening of the «Kyzylorda-Nan» bakery complex, which will give new impetus to the region's economy. I sincerely congratulate everyone on the launch of this new enterprise. We express our gratitude to the investors, builders, and all partner organizations involved in the project. May the complex be successful and its production fruitful! May our sovereign country be prosperous, and our independence unshakable!» - said Nurlybek Mashbekovich. Serik Duisenbaev, Chairman of the Regional Council of Veterans, delivered a welcoming speech at the event. Philanthropist Neilya Zhusupova was awarded the Kyzylorda Region Certificate of Honor for her contribution to the region's socioeconomic development and significant investments in the manufacturing industry. Employees received letters of gratitude from the regional akim.
The bakery, first opened in Kyzylorda in 1957, provided residents with high-quality products until 1995. Thirty years later, this good tradition continued, and a new complex opened.
This complex, which received a total investment of 5.6 billion tenge, is a major facility not only of industrial but also of social and national significance. Currently, it employs 120 people, and this number of jobs is expected to increase to 170 in the future.
As part of state support, the complex was allocated a 5-hectare plot of land and provided with the necessary infrastructure. In addition, a preferential loan of 1.2 billion tenge was provided, with a subsidized interest rate. During the first phase, four production facilities with modern, fully automated equipment worth 3.1 billion tenge were launched. Next year, as part of the second phase of the project, construction of a flour mill costing 2.5 billion tenge is planned.
