At a meeting of the permanent commissions of the city maslikhat, with the participation of heads of passenger transport enterprises, the issue of the state and prospects of passenger transportation development in Ust-Kamenogorsk was considered.

As a result of the discussion, recommendations were given to responsible structures on comprehensive improvement of the quality of public transport services. In particular, the focus is on: ensuring a sufficient number of traffic schedules on key routes, taking into account peak loads; strengthening schedule monitoring, especially in the evening and in remote areas of the city; analyzing passenger traffic using the ONAY! system in order to identify the most in-demand destinations and possible opening of new routes.

Recommendations were also given on the work of drivers and conductors with passengers: compliance with ethical rules, prohibition of smoking in transport, as well as assistance to persons with disabilities. In addition, carriers are invited to consider the possibility of introducing uniform uniforms for public transport employees.

Special attention is paid to ensuring the smooth operation of the ONAY! fare payment system, timely informing passengers about its functioning and responding to user complaints.
