On October 8, 2025, a regional scientific and practical conference was held on the topic: “The Role of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Interethnic and Interfaith Harmony: Experience and Prospects.”

The purpose of the event was to highlight the role of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in strengthening the model of interethnic and interfaith harmony, as well as to discuss promising directions for the development of state policy in this area.

The conference was attended by scholars, master’s students, university students, members of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the North Kazakhstan Region, representatives of the media, government officials, and civil society.

The Department for Religious Affairs of the North Kazakhstan Region was represented by N. Nurmagambet, Head of the Department for the Prevention of Extremism and Rehabilitation Work, who delivered a presentation titled “Dialogue of Religions for Peace and the Future.”

The conference became an important platform for exchanging views, generating new ideas, and strengthening cooperation in the field of interethnic and interfaith relations.
