Tallinn, October 13, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Estonia A. Kulginov held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Regional Affairs and Agriculture of Estonia, Hendrik Johannes Terras. During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda and outlined promising areas for future cooperation.

Both sides expressed mutual interest in further strengthening partnership in the fields of agriculture and regional development. Ambassador Kulginov noted Kazakhstan’s significant potential for the export of grain, oilseeds, and mineral fertilizers through the Estonian ports of Muuga and Sillamäe, and emphasized that the Kazakh market remains open for the import of pedigree cattle from Estonia.

Minister Hendrik Johannes Terras and Ambassador Kulginov also underlined the interest of both sides in enhancing cooperation between the national postal operators Kazpost and Omniva.

The talks also focused on the digital development of agriculture. Ambassador Kulginov informed his Estonian counterpart about the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to establish the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and emphasized the importance of exchanging experience in agricultural technologies and digital solutions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties highlighted the strong potential for expanding cooperation between Estonia and Kazakhstan across various economic sectors and agreed to continue regular contacts to discuss and advance issues of mutual interest.
