On October 14, 2025, a briefing was held for representatives of the diplomatic corps. The briefing was dedicated to the outcomes of Kazakhstan’s national reports under the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).

Vice Minister of Justice Botagoz Zhakselekova provided information on the successful presentation by the Republic of Kazakhstan of its two national reports at the UN platform. In order to ensure the implementation of the received recommendations, systematic and consistent work will be carried out to fulfill the undertaken commitments with the participation of civil society and international partners.

The Vice Minister highlighted the support expressed by UN member states and experts for the President’s reforms aimed at strengthening the rule of law, protecting human rights, and developing democratic institutions.

Concluding the event, Botagoz Zhakselekova expressed gratitude to the representatives of the diplomatic corps for their continued attention to human rights issues and emphasized Kazakhstan’s readiness for further constructive cooperation and exchange of experience in the implementation of its international obligations.
