On June 27, 2025, the Economic Partnership Agreement was signed between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states, on the one hand, and the United Arab Emirates, on the other. The agreement provides for a mutual reduction or elimination of import customs duties on a significant number of goods. Essentially, it is a classic, full-fledged free trade agreement with additional provisions for developing industry cooperation, enhancing interaction between small and medium-sized businesses, e-commerce, and other areas. The Agreement is currently undergoing ratification in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.

In this regard, the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan notifies of the posting of the draft resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan 'On ratification of the Economic Partnership Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states, on the one hand, and the United Arab Emirates, on the other'" on the official website and on the "Open NPAs" internet portal.
