In Karmakshy district, a number of projects aimed at improving residents’ quality of life and enhancing road infrastructure in settlements are being implemented in stages. To monitor the progress of these works, District Akim Zhandos Erkinbek made a working visit to the Zhosaly and Iirkol rural districts, where he inspected several construction sites.

The district head first familiarized himself with the project for landscaping the central square located in the Zhosaly rural district. Construction works under this project began in September of this year. As of today, 90% of the paving work with cobblestone (brick tiles) has been completed, and the installation of fences is nearing completion. In addition, all necessary equipment and materials have been delivered to the site. According to the plan, the facility is scheduled to be fully commissioned by the end of October.

Next, the akim inspected the progress of the major repair of the water drainage pipe along the district road “Samara–Shymkent–Iirkol.” During construction, a 0.3 km detour road was built. The roadbed for the pipeline installation has been compacted, the water pipe has been installed, and sand backfilling works are currently underway.

The district akim monitored the ongoing works at each site and instructed the contracting organizations to ensure high-quality and timely completion. He also tasked the responsible sector heads with maintaining constant supervision over the progress of the projects.
