As part of the implementation of the plan for visits to mandated institutions and other organizations by representatives of the Human Rights Commissioner of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Almaty Region, M.Zh. Magzhanov, along with employees of the Local Police Service Department of the Almaty Region Police Department, conducted a monitoring visit to Precinct Police Stations No. 1 and 2 and a special room at the duty station of the Raimbek District Police Department.

During the visit, the special room and the office space of the precinct police stations were inspected, and the work organization of precinct police inspectors, their record-keeping, preventive monitoring, and individual preventive work with registered individuals were examined.

In accordance with Order No. 1095 of the Minister of Internal Affairs dated December 29, 2015, all district police officers maintain electronic records of the administrative areas they serve, along with corresponding lists of individuals subject to registration and monitoring, and workbooks to ensure they are fully informed about the specifics of their administrative areas.

During the inspection, discussions were held with district police officers and other police department staff regarding strict adherence to citizens' rights and freedoms.

Following the visit, problematic issues arising in the work of police department staff were discussed, and appropriate recommendations were made.
