A large-scale environmental campaign was held in Shymkent as part of the national "Taza Kazakstan" program. Local residents, volunteers, youth, utility workers, and students joined the cleanup day, which covered all districts of the city.

Abay district: Kyzylzhar microdistrict and Sarykol street cleared
In the densely populated Kyzylzhar neighborhood, the "Taza Meken" campaign took place. Participants cleared streets, ditches, and irrigation systems of debris, trimmed trees, and landscaped the area. On Saryköl Street, inert fill was removed and the area was tidied up.
Representatives of the Amanat party, local residents, and utility workers—a total of about 190 people—participated in the event. During the operation, 12 tons of waste were removed using five trucks.
Public figure Bastarkhan Baizhanov noted that the "Taza Kazakhstan" program is not just a cleanup day, but a comprehensive initiative aimed at fostering environmental awareness and responsibility among young people.

Al-Farabi District: Improvement of the 16th microdistrict
Cleanup days were held in the courtyards of apartment buildings No. 3 and No. 4: irrigation canals were cleared and dead branches were trimmed. Thanks to the participation of residents and specialized equipment, approximately 30 tons of trash were removed.

Enbekshinsky district: Kalmyrzaev street cleared
Roadside cleaning and road washing operations were carried out on Kalmyrzayev Street. The cleanup attracted approximately 100 participants, involved four pieces of equipment, and collected approximately two tons of trash.

Karatau district: cleaning in the Miras microdistrict and the Shym Saya gorge
Public areas, sidewalks, and green spaces were cleared on Gun Eli, Keme Kalgan, and Altyn Adam streets and in the Shym Saya recreation area. Residents of the neighborhood, employees of various agencies, and 12 pieces of specialized equipment were involved.

Turansky district: large-scale cleanup in the Zhaңa talap microdistrict
With the help of local residents, veterans, and municipal services, streets and ditches were cleared, and dead trees were trimmed. More than 100 people and six pieces of equipment, including trucks and tree trimmers, were involved in the work.

Youth: "Taza Shym" campaign in Abay Park
The Shymkent Youth Resource Center, together with the Department of Comfortable Urban Environment, held the "Taza Shym" campaign in Abay Park. Around 50 volunteers cleaned the area and collected 112 kg of trash. The campaign aims to foster environmental awareness and responsibility among young people.

Environmental education in schools
All city schools held themed class hours and open lessons on the topic "Taza Kala." Specifically, at Schools No. 5, No. 15, and No. 45, students learned about the importance of environmental protection, waste sorting, and caring for nature.

A systematic approach and real results
The "Taza Kazakhstan" program is being implemented on an ongoing basis in Shymkent and aims to foster environmental awareness, a sense of responsibility, and care for the city.
Large-scale campaigns not only contribute to improving the environmental situation but also strengthen community cohesion and civic engagement. Shymkent residents, adhering to the principle "A clean city is a mirror of a clean society," are ready to continue to actively participate in the improvement of their city.
