"Clean Kazakhstan": City residents and youth actively participated in a large-scale environmental campaign in Shymkent

A large-scale environmental campaign was held in Shymkent as part of the republican program "Clean Kazakhstan". Residents, youth, volunteers, representatives of public utilities, and students of educational institutions actively participated in the campaign, which covered all districts of the city.
Abay district: Kyzylzhar territory and Sarykol street cleared
In the densely populated Kyzylzhar microdistrict, a "Clean Home" campaign was organized, and the streets, ditches, and irrigation systems were cleaned of ash and garbage. Dead trees and bushes were cut down, and landscaping work was carried out. In addition, the entire length of Sarykol Street was cleaned of inert waste and put in order.
The action involved 50 people from the Shymkent city branch of the Amanat party, more than 100 residents, and 40 utility workers, and as a result, 12 tons of garbage were removed in 5 trucks.
According to public activist Bastarkhan Baizhanov, the "Clean Kazakhstan" program is not limited to just the Sabbath. This initiative is a comprehensive measure aimed at creating environmental awareness in society, treating nature with compassion, and setting an example for the younger generation.
Al-Farabi district: microdistrict No. 16 and residential yards cleaned
Shabbat work was carried out in the courtyards of multi-storey buildings No. 3 and No. 4 in microdistrict No. 16. Dead bushes were cut down and irrigation systems were cleaned. Residents of Al-Farabi district participated in this event, and about 30 tons of garbage were removed with the help of 4 special vehicles.
Enbekshi district: Kalmyrzayev Street was cleaned and the street was washed with water
During the cleaning work on Kalmyrzaev Street, the roadside was cleared of grass and garbage, and the asphalt surface was washed with water. According to representatives of the district akimat, such measures increase the environmental responsibility of residents. About 100 people took part in the cleanup, and about 2 tons of garbage were collected. 4 special equipment was deployed.
Karatau district: Shabbat in the Miras microdistrict and the Shym Saya gorge
A clean-up was held on Gun Eli, Keme Kalgan, Altyn Adam streets and Shym Saya gorge in the Miras microdistrict, where public places and pedestrian paths were cleaned of garbage. 12 special vehicles, residents of the microdistrict, and employees of various institutions participated in the cleaning work.
Turan district: Large-scale cleanup work carried out in Zhanatalap
Residents, veterans, and municipal employees actively participated in the event in the Zhanatalap microdistrict, located on the outskirts of the city. Streets and ditches were cleaned, dead trees were cut down. One loader, two trucks, and three logging machines were involved in the work. In total, more than 100 citizens took part.
City youth: "Clean Shym" campaign held in Abai Park
The Shymkent City Youth Resource Center and the Urban Environment Development Department organized a clean-up campaign called "Taza Shym" in Abai Park. About 50 young volunteers took part in it, cleaning the park from garbage and collecting 112 kg of waste. This event was aimed at forming an ecological culture among young people and contributing to the cleanliness of their hometown.
Environmental education has been strengthened in schools
All educational institutions of the city held environmental classes and lectures on the theme "Clean City". For example, open classes were organized in schools No. 5, No. 15, and No. 45, where students were provided with comprehensive information on environmental protection and proper sorting of household waste.

The "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign is not just a one-time event, but an ongoing project aimed at forming an ecological culture among residents and showing compassion for their native land.
