Bridge of Cultures: Kazakh Ensemble 'TURAN' сaptivates romanian audience

Bucharest, October 16, 2025 – In the lead-up to Republic Day, a festive concert by the ethno-folklore ensemble “TURAN” from the State Academic Concert Organization “Kazakhconcert” named after Roza Baglanova was held in Bucharest.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Yerlik Ali, opened the concert with a welcoming speech, in which he highlighted the high professionalism, outstanding achievements, and rich international experience of the TURAN ensemble, which represents modern Kazakh ethno-music on major world stages. He emphasized that the group has successfully performed in dozens of countries, has gained wide recognition from audiences, and has made a significant contribution to promoting Kazakhstan’s cultural heritage abroad.
The musicians of the TURAN ensemble presented a vivid and distinctive concert program that brought to life the centuries-old traditions of Turkic and Kazakh musical culture.
