Today, a festive event entitled "Language, Culture and Traditions of the Azerbaijani Ethnic Group" was held in Shymkent to mark the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

The event was jointly organized by the Shymkent City Azerbaijani Cultural Center Public Association and the Public Consensus Unit of the Shymkent City Department of Internal Policy and Youth Affairs.

The celebration was attended by the acting head of the Shymkent city department for internal policy and youth affairs, Zangarbek Usipakhmetov, the head of the "Public Agreement" KMU, Nurken Alimkulov, as well as chairmen and representatives of ethno-cultural associations in our city.

Zangarbek Usipakhmetov, Acting Head of the Department of Internal Policy and Youth Affairs of Shymkent, delivered a congratulatory speech during the event and congratulated those present on the Republic Day.
"Today's holiday is an instructive event that demonstrates the unity of our people, harmony and mutual respect between ethnic groups. The cultural wealth and linguistic diversity of the people of Kazakhstan are our greatest value. The holding of such events on the eve of Republic Day is a clear manifestation of unity and harmony in our country," said Zangarbek Usipakhmetov.

During the program, the audience was presented with dance, song and poetry compositions that reveal the rich culture and national art of the Azerbaijani people. The poems of Abai Kunanbayuly performed by the children made a special impression. Sunday school students demonstrated their skills and were awarded certificates.

In addition, the guests listened to works by famous Azerbaijani composers and watched national dances. At the end of the celebration, a feast of traditional Azerbaijani dishes was served to the participants.
