Turan district is one of the rapidly developing new administrative territories of Shymkent. During the clean-up events , 442 yards were cleaned and 656 tons of household waste were removed.

In addition, environmental campaigns were held in 5 locations , more than 8 thousand trees were whitewashed , and 2,845 trees were sanitary pruned . In the district, 68.7 thousand square meters of grass were mowed , 146 thousand square meters of water bodies and 932 kilometers of streets were cleaned.

72 special equipment was involved in these works, and 3 thousand trees have been planted since the beginning of the year. This step plays an important role in maintaining the ecological balance and increasing the city's green resources. Currently, 3,610 garbage bins have been installed in the district, and the system of household waste collection and sorting has been improved.
