A number of complex works are being carried out in the Enbekshi district of Shymkent to maintain public order, strengthen sanitation, and create a comfortable environment for residents. Jointly organized by the district akimat and "GROUP INTEKO" Limited Liability Partnership, work is ongoing to wash public transport stops, clean water cisterns, and improve the sanitary condition of streets .

Maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the city is a common responsibility not only of municipal services, but also of the city's residents. Therefore, work in this direction is carried out systematically in the Enbekshi district and is showing tangible results.

There are currently about 270 public transport stops in the district. All of them are washed at least twice a week according to the schedule, cleaned of dust, advertising stickers and other contaminants . Specially equipped water trucks and pressurized water sprayers are used to wash the stops.

During the work, garbage and debris around the bus stop are first collected, then metal and glass surfaces are washed and wiped. Many bus stops are also disinfected, which is aimed at ensuring the health and safety of residents.

According to specialists from "GRUPPPA INTEKO" LLP, washing operations are carried out three times a week in the summer, and twice a week in the autumn and spring . In the winter, work will continue to clear stops of snow and ice, and use de-icing equipment.

In addition, regular cleaning of drainage channels (drainage systems) is being carried out in the district. The main goal of this work is to ensure the free flow of water during rainfall and prevent water from accumulating on the streets.

Since the beginning of 2025 , a total of 118 kilometers of ditch systems have been cleaned in the Enbekshy district. Of these , 38 kilometers were cleaned manually , and the rest were cleaned using special vacuum equipment . About 700 tons of sludge and household waste collected during the cleaning process were taken to special landfills.

"GRUPP INTEKO" LLP currently deploys 8 special equipment and more than 40 workers every day . They work on the streets of the city from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

According to company representatives, such work is important not only for maintaining cleanliness, but also for preventing flooding , ensuring traffic safety , and improving the beauty of the city .

According to the Enbekshy District Akimat, there are a total of 534 streets in the district , most of which are connected to sewerage systems. The Akimat and the contractor are working together to ensure the uninterrupted operation of this infrastructure.

In addition, in addition to cleaning, measures are also being taken to wash and disinfect garbage cans and waste bins . This year alone , more than 2,300 waste bins have been installed on city streets , all of which are regularly cleaned.

Upgrading an additional 15 kilometers of ditch system and repairing or replacing about 50 old bus stops by the end of 2025 are also on the agenda.
