Turan district has become one of the most rapidly developing areas in Shymkent in recent years. Infrastructure and improvement work is being carried out systematically here, and many projects are being implemented to improve the quality of life of residents. One of these projects is a new modern flower garden on Gagarin Street.

This initiative was undertaken as part of the district's greening and ecological balance program. The total area of the new flower garden is approximately 1.5 hectares . There are various ornamental trees, fragrant flowers, and landscaped areas here. The project was implemented with the support of the Shymkent City Improvement Department and the Turan District Akimat.

The main goal of the Gulzar is to create a comfortable environment for residents to relax, walk, and spend time in the fresh air. Previously, this area was a neglected wasteland. Today, it has been transformed into an attractive recreation area surrounded by greenery .

Areas for family walks and children's games have been built on the territory of Gulzar. A safe playground has been installed for children, modern slides and swings have been installed. In addition, more than 40 benches and shade tents have been installed throughout the green area for residents to sit comfortably.

For the convenience of pedestrians , paved walkways have been built inside the flower garden. These paths are decorated with a unique decorative pattern and equipped with lights. In the evening, the flower garden is illuminated, creating a calm and cozy atmosphere for residents.

The main feature of the new resort is that it has been planted with flowers and tree species adapted to the local climate . For example, roses, petunias, clematis, lavender, and chrysanthemums attract attention with their various colors. The trees include junipers, maples, poplars, and birches.

According to the akim of the Turan district, this flower garden is not only a beautiful project, but also an important one from an ecological point of view . Because landscaping improves the air quality of the city, provides natural shade and coolness in the summer heat. In addition, greenery reduces the spread of dust and noise.

The residents of the district welcomed the construction of the new flower garden. Residents of the apartment buildings say that this area will now be not only a place for recreation, but also a place of unity and neighborliness . Then, paths and benches were installed, lights and trash cans were installed. In the final stage, lawns and flowers were planted. Everything was done in accordance with environmental requirements.

A special group of municipal workers has been appointed to maintain the flower garden. They clean the area daily and take care of the flowers and trees. In addition, video surveillance cameras have been installed in the flower garden to monitor public order and safety.

This initiative is part of the "Green City" program being implemented in the district. As part of the program , more than 120 thousand square meters of green areas have been landscaped in the Turan district this year. This includes tree planting, lawn laying, and flower beds.

In the future, the akimat plans to build such recreation areas on other streets in the district. For example, similar flower beds will appear on Kunayev, Tauke Khan, and Yntymak streets.
