On the initiative of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, systematic measures are being taken in our country to develop an ecological culture and protect the environment. Work in this direction is being gradually implemented in each region, and various events are being organized to promote environmental responsibility in all sectors of society. In this regard, the youth wing of the “Zhastar Ruhy” party under the “AMANAT” party organized a republican Road-relay as part of the nationwide campaign “Taza Qazaqstan”. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources also supported the relay, which indicates the importance and scale of this initiative.

The relay participants, who started in Almaty on September 30, traveled about 800 kilometers and reached Shymkent through Zhambyl region. During the events organized along the way, residents were explained that garbage does not decompose in nature for many years. Over 600 activists participated in the first three days of the relay, and more than 90 tons of garbage were collected. This indicator clearly demonstrates the interest of society in environmental culture and allowed to increase the activity of young people.

The relay race was not limited to collecting garbage. The participants organized public receptions, freely exchanged views with the public, and promoted environmental education and culture. In addition, they stopped at historical sites and carried out cleaning work. For example, landscaping activities were organized in the "Akyrtas" complex and the Sauran town. These activities were aimed at making young people understand not only the importance of protecting nature, but also the importance of preserving historical heritage.

The relay race, which arrived in Shymkent, was greeted with special enthusiasm by local youth. Students and volunteers in the city actively participated in cleaning, planting flowers and sorting garbage. Special eco-activity projects were organized as part of the relay race. The culture of sorting and recycling household waste was promoted through the “Pass the trash - get a gift” campaign. This event contributed to the formation of environmental responsibility among young people.

During the relay, ecological quizzes and master classes on making products from recycled materials were held. Young people were divided into groups and learned how to properly sort plastic, paper and other waste and how to recycle them. These events allowed them to consolidate their environmental knowledge in a practical way.

In addition, a special master class on planting flowers was organized. Gardeners from Dasik_begonia and Gulhome.Store2 participated in it and taught young people the intricacies of planting flowers. Students and volunteers beautified the city by planting flowers and contributed to the increase in green areas. This experience showed young people the importance of environmental action and increased their love for the environment.

During the relay race, each participant was instilled with a culture of environmental responsibility and care for nature. Proper waste sorting, recycling, and keeping the city clean helped to instill a sense of responsibility in young people. In addition, the organizers ensured that environmental culture was conveyed to all age groups, involving members of all groups of society.

In general, during the republican Road-relay, which started in Almaty and ended in Shymkent, environmental events were held in many cities and districts. At each event along the way, meetings were organized with residents, explaining the importance of ecological culture and nature protection. Residents and active youth joined forces and contributed to the beautification of the city and the cleanliness of the environment.

The main goal of the relay race is to create an ecological culture among young people and city residents, actively involve society in keeping the city clean, and educate them to care for nature. This initiative contributed to raising environmental awareness among young people, developing environmental skills and a sense of responsibility.

In general, the cleanliness relay that started in Almaty reached Shymkent, and large-scale events were held in the city. Through the activity, organization, and participation of young people and volunteers, a great opportunity was created to improve the ecological situation of the city, to form public order and a culture of caring for nature.
