On the first Saturday of October 2025, the traditional city-wide clean-up was held in Shymkent. This time, the cleaning event was organized in the Kaynarbulak residential area in the Abay district. The clean-up was aimed at increasing the city's environmental culture, strengthening residents' responsibility for nature, and improving the sanitary conditions of settlements.

The event was actively attended by the Abai district akim's office, employees of the Abai municipal state institution, as well as representatives of the Kazstroycapital institution and a number of departments. Since the morning, hundreds of people have been taking shovels, brooms, bags and necessary equipment in their hands and have set out to clean the area.

The main goal of the weekend was to clean the Kaynarbulak residential area from garbage, tidy up green areas, and maintain environmental order . In this direction, the participants worked harmoniously and managed to beautify the area in a short period of time.

The work began around nine in the morning. First, the main streets and pedestrian paths of the residential area were cleaned. Specially assigned teams put the drainage systems, sidewalks and green areas along the streets in order. The collected garbage was removed by special vehicles and delivered to the city landfills. Within a few hours, the appearance of Kaynarbulak changed, and the surroundings became clean and tidy.

Representatives of the Abay district akim's office told the participants of the Sabbath about the role of cleanliness in public life . According to them, city cleanliness is not only the task of public utilities, but also an indicator of the level of culture of each citizen.
"Where there is cleanliness, there is order and unity. Therefore, today's Sabbath is not just about collecting garbage, it is a manifestation of civic responsibility. Together, we must contribute to making our hometown clean and comfortable," the deputy akim of the district said in his speech.

During the weekend, not only cleaning work was carried out, but also pruning trees and shrubs, mowing grass, and maintaining greenery . Participants loosened the roots of trees, cleaned up the area around them, and planted young seedlings. These works were aimed at improving the ecological appearance of Kaynarbulak and forming a culture of nature conservation among residents.

Employees of the Abai KMM and workers of the Kazstroycapital enterprise took part in this event with particular activity. They took care of the cleanliness not only of their own territory, but also of the neighboring streets. Such solidarity and mutual assistance created a good mood and working spirit among the participants.

Residents of the Kaynarbulak residential area also warmly welcomed this initiative and voluntarily joined the Sabbath. Many residents cleaned the front and yards of their houses and helped take out the garbage. Some even planted trees, flowers, and contributed to the landscaping work with their own hands.
Local youth were also involved in this good cause. A group of students and volunteers came to help the elderly and clean the streets.

The main feature of such events is the unity of society in the cause of common interests . One person held a shovel, another worked with a broom, and another helped to carry out the collected garbage. Such joint work brings people closer together and strengthens the collective spirit.

During the weekend, the participants also raised the topic of environmental culture and household waste sorting. The organizers explained to residents the importance of waste recycling and careful use of nature . In particular, information was provided about the need to collect plastic and paper waste separately.

The Abai district akimat has prepared all the necessary conditions for the Sabbath. Special equipment, bags, tools and vehicles were allocated, and the work was carried out in an organized manner. The sunny and warm weather also increased the activity of the participants.

At the end of the event, the organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants and called for such good events to be held regularly.
"Our goal is not just to clean up today, but to form a sustainable environmental culture among residents. If every resident takes responsibility for their yard and street, Shymkent will undoubtedly become the cleanest and most beautiful city," said a representative of the Kazstroycapital company.

The Saturday event in Kaynarbulak not only added beauty to the city, but also contributed to the increase in civic activity. Each participant showed his love for his native land through his work. Such events teach young people to be hardworking, to respect nature, and to treat each other with respect.

As a result of the Saturday, several tons of household waste were removed, dozens of trees and branches were trimmed, and lawns were cleaned. The Kaynarbulak residential area breathed new life, becoming a place of cleanliness and order.

This Sabbath is a clear manifestation of environmental responsibility and public culture . The residents of Kaynarbulak, through their actions, proved that creating a clean environment is within the power of every citizen.

Keeping our city clean is not just a one-day event, it should become a daily lifestyle. Because cleanliness is a sign of order, and order is a sign of a civilized society .
Therefore, every resident must keep their yard and street clean and take care of the environment.

The Sabbath in Kaynarbulak clearly proved this point:
A clean city is the responsibility of every citizen!
