A meeting of the district active was held under the chairmanship of the akim of the district, Berik Sarmenbayev, during which the head of the Syrdarya District Department for Emergency Situations, Lieutenant Colonel of Civil Protection Kanat Sharafadinov, was honorably seen off in connection with his transfer to another position.

"From October 2023 to the present day, Kanat Sharafadinovich headed the district Emergency Situations Department and made a significant contribution to the development of the civil protection system in our district. On the instructions of the regional akim, Nurlybek Mashbekuly Nalibayev, he organized systematic work on establishing emergency posts in the settlements. Thanks to his professionalism, consistent measures were taken to prevent emergencies and eliminate their consequences. On behalf of myself and the residents of the district, I express my sincere gratitude for the worthy performance of such a responsible service," said Berik Abdigapparovich.

At the meeting, Kanat Sharafadinov was awarded the highest district honor — the Certificate of Merit — for his contribution to the socio-economic development of the district and strengthening the civil protection system.

The participants of the active meeting wished the Lieutenant Colonel of Civil Protection success in his new position.
