An official welcoming ceremony for the President of Azerbaijan, who arrived in Kazakhstan on a state visit, was held in Akorda.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Ilham Aliyev introduced the members of their official delegations. The chief of the honor guard greeted the heads of state. The national anthems of both countries were played.
