President: "Currently, more than 800 Korean companies are successfully operating in Kazakhstan"

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his sincere gratitude to KIA Corporation President Ho-sung Song and the company, noting that extensive work had been done, which resulted in the strengthening of mutually beneficial and fruitful relations.

– In general, today's significant event is a vivid demonstration of the strategic partnership and successful relations between Kazakhstan and Korea. The Republic of Korea is Kazakhstan's reliable partner in Asia. We are interested in further strengthening our cooperation. Currently, more than 800 Korean companies are successfully operating in Kazakhstan. Among them, there is every reason to say that the automotive industry is a source of mutually beneficial cooperation. The unique plant being opened today is a clear proof of this. KIA Corporation is among the 10 largest automobile manufacturers in the world. KIA is also one of the three most purchased car brands by citizens of Kazakhstan. The fact that the name of the KIA brand consists of two hieroglyphs: "rising" and "Asia" has a symbolic meaning. In fact, the company has become a vivid manifestation of the new economic upsurge and prosperity of Asia. KIA is a corporation of the future. The cars produced by the enterprise combine advanced technology, attractive design and a high level of reliability, - said the President.
