October 25 is one of the key dates in our country's history. This day symbolizes the laying of the foundation of Kazakhstan's statehood and the beginning of a new era as an independent sovereign state. In 2025, the Republic of Kazakhstan will traditionally celebrate this holiday with large-scale events, including in the city of Shymkent.
On the eve of Republic Day, a festive concert, organized by the district administration, was held in the Yenbekshinsky District of Shymkent. Invited guests included residents of the district and the city, as well as guests.
The gala event began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The program featured performances by honored artists of the regional philharmonic society, as well as creative groups presenting national and contemporary art pieces. The concert program aimed to strengthen patriotic spirit and national unity.
During the event, Dosbol Yesilbek, Akim of the Yenbekshinsky District, delivered a welcoming address. In his address, he emphasized the importance of unity and work as the foundation for the further development of society.
"Republic Day marks the beginning of our state, a symbol of the Kazakh people's emergence as an independent nation. This holiday instills patriotism and love for the Motherland in every citizen. I express my sincere gratitude to everyone who contributes to the development of the district and the prosperity of our country through their work," noted the district akim.
As part of the celebration, 15 employees from various sectors—education, healthcare, law enforcement, utilities, and culture—were awarded letters of gratitude for their significant contribution to the socioeconomic development of the region and their active participation in public life.
One of the awardees, “Best Teacher” Saltanat Sengirbaeva, noted:
"This award is the result of not only my work but also that of my students. The future of our country lies in an educated young generation. I am honored to live up to the trust placed in me. Republic Day is a special holiday that awakens patriotism and pride for the homeland in the hearts of Kazakhstanis."
The festive evening concluded with patriotic songs and dance performances, which evoked a lively response from the audience and became a vibrant highlight of the celebration.
