🔹Today, an event on the theme "Kazakhstan - the land of unity and peace" was held in Shymkent, organized by the city's "Akhyska" Turkish ethnocultural center, as part of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

🔹The festive event was attended by Zangar Usipakhmetov, Acting Head of the City Department of Internal Policy and Youth Affairs, Levent Gurzhan, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in the Turkestan Region, Latipsha Asanov, Chairman of the City Turkish Ethnocultural Center, and representatives of ethnocultural associations and city residents.

🔹In his speech, the head of the board reported on the work carried out within the framework of state ethno-policy and thanked the activists of the Turkish ethno-cultural association for their significant contribution to strengthening national unity in the city.

– About 7 thousand representatives of the Turkic ethnic group live in Shymkent. The Turkish brothers, who have linked their future with Kazakhstan, make a significant contribution to the development of the country, promoting the values of unity and respect. May the peace of our country always be strong, - said Zangar Nyshanbekuly.

🔹The guests watched the performances of ethno-folklore ensembles organized in the lobby of the House of Friendship and saw samples of national costumes. Then they visited the exhibition of applied arts and got acquainted with photo banners depicting the history and life of the Akhiska Turks, ancient household items, and national dishes.

🔹In her speech, the chairman of the city's Turkish ethnocultural center, Latipsha Asanov, expressed her gratitude to the guests who came to the festive event and briefly touched upon the center's work on the path of national unity. During the event, activists who promoted the values of national unity and contributed to strengthening interethnic harmony were awarded.
