On the eve of Republic Day, two new facilities were opened with the participation of the akim of the region — a park on the territory of the Kostanay Regional University named after Akhmet Baitursynov and a square on Temirbaev Street.

Both facilities were implemented within the framework of the Taza Kazakhstan program. The park is equipped with sports and children's playgrounds, a bike path, an amphitheater and recreation areas.

Lighting, benches, bins and a parking lot have been installed in the square near the railway station, trees and flowers have been planted.

The new spaces create comfortable conditions for the recreation of citizens and guests of the city.
