On the occasion of the Republic Day, the Youth Resource Center of Shymkent and the Higher Medical College jointly organized a sports competition called “Autumn Cross”. The main goal of the event was to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people, increase unity and patriotism.

This marathon, held in the Central Park, created a truly festive atmosphere. The cool morning air and the unique autumn scenery left a strong impression on the participants. 12 young people took part in the 100-meter race, showing an example of speed and endurance. 12 teams of 4 people participated in the relay marathon.
During the competition, the participants supported each other and did their best to achieve victory. This sporting event was not just about competition, but also about friendship, solidarity, and the activity of young people.

– Sport unites us. We intend to comprehensively expand the platform for uniting young people. The formation of a healthy lifestyle is the key to a healthy nation. Today's marathon is a good initiative aimed at increasing young people's interest in sports and forming an active lifestyle in society, - said Zhanserik Zhuman, head of the Youth Resource Center.

At the end of the competition, the winners and prize-winners were awarded special diplomas and prizes.
