On October 30, 2025, the Department of Justice, together with the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region, held a meeting with representatives of the I. Omarov Kazakh Drama Theater, the Regional Russian Drama Theater, the Regional Puppet Theater and the E. Umurzakov Philharmonic.
Issues of copyright and related rights, mechanisms of collective management of authors' rights, as well as current changes in legislation in the field of intellectual property were discussed at the meeting.
An active dialogue took place with the participation of representatives of the creative community. The support and protection of copyrights is an important step in the development of the cultural potential of the region.
Protecting the rights of authors is a contribution to the development of culture, an incentive to create new works and a show of respect for their work.
