A trade and economic mission from Kazakhstan, organized by the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and QazTrade JSC, took place in Tashkent. Currently, 876 Kazakh enterprises operate in Uzbekistan, accounting for approximately $500 million in trade turnover across 270 categories.

The mission included Kazakh companies representing construction materials, food and light industries, mechanical engineering, chemicals, and processing. B2B meetings are being held between Kazakh exporters and major distributors, retail chains, and Uzbek companies.

"The mission in Tashkent is an opportunity for companies not only to present their products but also to immediately enter the neighboring country's market, negotiate supplies, and begin exporting. We support participants at every stage, from organizing meetings to translation and logistics," noted Aidar Abildabekov, Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"This is not just a delegation or formal speeches." These are specific negotiations with buyers willing to purchase Kazakh products. Export agreements worth $73.5 million have already been signed. We see strong demand from Uzbekistan for sunflower oil, meat, and sugar," QazTrade added.

According to the agency, mutual trade between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is growing steadily. In the first eight months of this year, trade turnover increased by almost 18.5% to $3 billion, while Kazakh exports grew by more than 26.7%, reaching $2.2 billion.
