An informational seminar was held at the Department of State Revenues for the Sarkand District to explain the main provisions of the new Tax Code, which will take effect on January 1, 2026.

During the meeting, specialists of the department provided detailed information on the new approaches to taxation, the digitalization of tax processes, and measures to improve tax administration.

Particular attention was given to supporting small and medium-sized businesses, introducing a progressive scale of individual income tax, and changes related to value-added tax (VAT).

The event aimed to enhance tax literacy and promote open dialogue between taxpayers and tax authorities.
