Geneva, October 23, 2025 – The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva has marked the Republic Day with a spectacular concert. This cultural event, part of the “Days of Kyzylorda Region in Switzerland,” showcased the rich heritage and artistic traditions of Kazakhstan through performances by talented musicians and dance ensembles from the Kyzylorda region.

The celebration was attended by friends and partners – heads of international organizations and diplomatic missions, diplomats, citizens of Kazakhstan, and representatives of academic and business circles of Geneva.

The concert featured a program of traditional music, alongside dance performances, highlighting the cultural depth of Kazakhstan. The event was opened with welcome remarks from Ambassador Kairat Torebayev, Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the WTO and international economic organizations, and Ambassador Yerlan Alimbayev. Ambassador Alimbayev congratulated our compatriots on this significant occasion and thanked the partner countries for supporting the Kazakhstan’s international initiatives on Geneva-based platforms. 

The event concluded with a tasting of national dishes, offering a flavorful glimpse into rich Kazakh heritage.

This celebration continues a cherished tradition of cultural exchange in Geneva, following Atyrau and Aktobe artists' performances.
