As part of the Republic Day celebrations, the third largest metropolis organized large-scale cultural, sports, and spiritual events for residents and guests of the city. The "Kite Festival", which painted the sky of Shymkent in various colors, became the main highlight of the holiday.

The goal of the festival, organized by the city administration, was to develop a culture of family recreation, enhance the creative potential of young people, and promote active outdoor recreation.

At the event, which took place in the city's central parks, kites of various shapes and colors spoke to the sky, creating a special impression on residents. Children and parents flew kites together, witnessing unforgettable moments.

The festival included kite-flying competitions, children's workshops, a soap bubble show, and animation performances. A concert program with DJs and dancers added to the festive mood. A bicycle race and street dance competition were held, and the grand closing of the motorcycle season brightened up the day.

Yerlan Omarov, head of the Visit Shymkent tourist information center, emphasized the importance of the festival.
— The main idea of this event is to give the city residents a good mood and create a culture of family recreation. Today's festival is not just a kite parade, it is a celebration of creativity and activity. In addition, valuable prizes were awarded to the best show programs presented by the participants. This will encourage their work and give them an impetus to be active next year, - he said.

The festival has become a long-awaited family holiday for residents and guests of the city. Kites flying in the sky and children's laughter fill the sky of Shymkent with joy. The holiday has increased the tourist attractiveness of the city and given residents a sense of freshness and new energy.

On this day, the "House of Friendship" hosted a festival of friendship of peoples "In unity is our strength!" dedicated to the Republic Day and the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. At the event, organized by the Georgian Ethnocultural Center, representatives of various ethnic groups presented their cultures and entertained the audience with songs and dances.

Sports competitions were also organized on the grounds of the Assembly building, and the best in arm wrestling were determined. Participants promoted a healthy lifestyle and raised the spirit of the holiday.

Open-air concert programs called "Shymkala Evenings" held in the city's parks and flower beds added to the festive spirit. City art groups entertained the audience with impressive songs and dances, continuing the festive fun.

These events, held simultaneously, once again proved that Shymkent is a city full of life, art, unity and joy. Republic Day was remembered as a symbol of national unity and peace, with high spirits like a kite.
