Medina, October 26, 2025 – The Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Jeddah, Ruslan Kospanov, held a meeting with the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Branch of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Medina, Ibrahim AlSubhi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of cooperation in the trade, economic, tourism, and cultural spheres. Special attention was given to interaction in the consular field, as well as matters related to Kazakh citizens studying and residing in Medina.

The Consul General emphasized certain aspects concerning the situation of Kazakh students at the Islamic University of Medina, pilgrims, and individuals who may find themselves in difficult circumstances in the city.

In turn, the Saudi diplomat noted the positive dynamics in the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, highlighting the strengthening of cooperation in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres. Ibrahim AlSubhi expressed his readiness to provide the necessary assistance and support, and conveyed his hope for further constructive cooperation.
