Order No. 263-NK of the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 15, 2025, "On Amendments and Supplements to the Order of the Acting Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 29, 2021, No. 433-NK, 'On Approval of the Conformity Assessment Rules,'" was approved. The order comes into effect on December 6, 2025.
Main innovations:
– Declaration schemes for confirming compliance have been developed;
– The procedure for identifying objects subject to mandatory confirmation of compliance (certification) with the execution of a certificate has been regulated;
– Standards for including additional information in certificates for natural stone products (deposit, expert auditor's visit, rock strength, etc.) have been established; – The registration of test reports in the technical regulation register is now mandatory, with the full report attached;
– The grounds for reissuing a certificate or declaration of conformity for products without a conformity assessment have been expanded.
"The proposed measures will ensure transparency in the interactions between participants in the conformity assessment procedure," noted the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology.
They also provide for harmonization with the Eurasian Economic Union's technical regulation legislation and the form of the certificate of conformity, particularly in light of the development of organic and halal product production.
The adoption of the amendments to the Order is favorable and aims to improve conformity assessment procedures and foster effective interaction between participants in the process, namely businesses and accreditation entities.
