On October 28, 2025, the Department of Justice of the Kostanay region, together with Business Optima, in the interests of Colgate-Palmolive Company and IWI AG (the copyright holder of the SPLAT trademark), conducted an online training on intellectual property protection and countering the trafficking of counterfeit products on the topic: "Intellectual property protection and combating counterfeit products".
The event was attended by representatives of the Police Department, units for combating economic crimes, state revenue and trade of Kostanay region.
The training was aimed at raising the awareness of employees working in the field of intellectual property protection in identifying counterfeit goods. During the event, information was provided on the registered trademarks of the copyright holders, as well as on the distinguishing features of the original products compared with counterfeit ones.
