U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau began their visit to Kazakhstan in Almaty.⠀

The visit program includes a series of meetings to discuss prospects for Kazakh-American relations, as well as key issues on the international and regional agenda.

In Almaty, Sergio Gor and Christopher Landau met with representatives of the business community and executives of American companies operating in Kazakhstan.

They also visited the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Shymbulak ski resort, and the high-mountain skating rink Medeu.

The guests were accompanied by Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aibek Dadebay.
