President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid special attention to the development of agriculture in his Address to the People of Kazakhstan on September 8, 2025. The Head of State noted that this sector is a solid foundation of the country's economy and emphasized the need to raise agriculture to a new level.

Currently, the best agricultural enterprises covering all stages of production operate in a number of regions of the country. They demonstrate best practices in the rational use of land, effective organization of product processing and distribution chains. As the President noted, such enterprises widely use digitalization methods, significantly increasing production efficiency.

The main mechanism for raising agriculture to a new level is the introduction of innovation and technology. Precision farming, smart farms, automated irrigation systems, and agrodrones have become the main directions of the global agricultural industry today. Kazakhstan should not remain aloof from this trend.

At the same time, supporting rural workers, providing preferential loans and infrastructure for farmers is a guarantee of sustainable development of the agricultural sector. It is impossible to ensure food security without developing agriculture. Therefore, state programs and reforms in this direction should be focused on concrete results.

The initiatives proposed by the President will increase the potential of rural areas, create new jobs, improve the quality of local products, and increase exports.

The development of agriculture is the path to prosperity not only for the village, but also for the entire country. With the help of modern technology and a skilled workforce, Kazakhstan can reach new heights in the agricultural sector.
