30.10.2025 15:21:51 96The process of digitalization within the law enforcement forces is being implemented systematically and step by step. In this context, the Academy of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an international scientific and practical conference dedicated to information security and new directions of communication in the digital era.
The event took place at the Qyzyljar Creative Center in Petropavl. It brought together representatives of the academic community from domestic and foreign universities, as well as cadets and students.
The main goal of the conference was to improve the system of information security in the military sphere amid digital transformation, and to advance communication culture to a new level. Participants discussed not only the effective implementation of digital technologies in military education, but also issues such as manipulation on social networks and the spread of fake content.
At the conference, a collective electronic textbook authored by Colonel Bolat Smagulov, retired Colonel Alexander Mityaev, and Lieutenant Colonel Kazybek Muratayev — instructors from the Department of Military Pedagogy and Psychology — was presented.
The textbook contains a comprehensive set of recommendations for improving the strategic communications system of the National Guard, covering institutional, technological, and educational measures. Developed using the HTML programming language, it is designed for training cadets in the disciplines “Information and Psychological Contradictions” and “Fundamentals of Journalism,” as well as for use in moral and psychological work with personnel.
Particular attention was drawn to a presentation by second-year cadet Islam Aueskhan, who delivered a report on the impact of artificial intelligence on human consciousness in the media environment. He spoke about the ability of media algorithms to predict user behavior and analyzed how these processes influence information security and personal privacy.
The conference received more than 65 scientific papers from Kazakhstan and abroad, demonstrating the high relevance of digitalization in military science and the expansion of international cooperation.
Experts concluded that the scientific research initiatives launched by the Academy of the National Guard in the field of digitalization have reached a new qualitative level. Such initiatives contribute to the development of military pedagogy and psychology and to the formation of a new generation of officers with advanced information culture and digital thinking.
