Kostanay region continues to strengthen its position as one of the most attractive regions for investors in Kazakhstan. In January–August of this year, 379.7 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the region, which is 18% more than in the same period last year (322.8 billion tenge). The index of physical volume of investments (IFO) amounted to 113.4%, which confirms the steady growth of economic activity.

Special attention is paid to private investments, which amounted to 305.9 billion tenge, or 80.6% of the total investment (IFO – 111.2%). This indicates the high business confidence in the region and its investment climate.

Large-scale project: KIA Qazaqstan factory

One of the largest and most significant projects in the region has become the KIA Qazaqstan plant, which was built in record time and is already fully operational. This is also KIA's first investment outside of Korea.

During the implementation of the project, the infrastructure was developed and qualified personnel were trained to work at the plant. Key investment projects of 2025

In 2025, it is planned to launch 6 large industrial projects in the region with a total investment of 189.6 billion tenge, which will create about 1,800 new jobs. Among them:

1. SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP – production of Jetour (CKD) cars, 2.3 billion tenge, 5 thousand cars per year, 200 jobs.

2.KamLit KZ LLP – production of main gears of driving axles, 82.5 billion tenge, up to 74 thousand units per year, 550 jobs.

3.KamLit KZ LLP – in-depth localization of the production of beams of driving bridges, 78 billion tenge, up to 90 thousand units per year, 100 jobs.

4. TEHNOPARK KZ LLP is a localization center for the production of automotive components, 17.8 billion tenge, 60 thousand components per year, 800 jobs.

5. Bestex LLP – construction and reconstruction of furniture and clothing production, 5.5 billion tenge, 200 thousand garments per year, 150 jobs.

6. Private charitable foundation "Tlep" – multifunctional tourist complex, 3.5 billion tenge, 20 jobs.
