Today, in Karmakshy district, as part of the republican campaign “People’s Lawyer” organized simultaneously nationwide, free legal assistance was provided to local residents.

The campaign took place at the “Rukhaniyat Center” in Zhosaly settlement and at the club building of Zhanazhol rural district.

The event was attended by District Prosecutor Meirambek Makhanbetzhanov, Deputy Akim of the district Dias Moldabayev, representatives of law enforcement and state revenue authorities, the healthcare and sanitary-epidemiological control departments, as well as heads of various departments and institutions, akims of settlements and rural districts, qualified lawyers, notaries, advocates, and court bailiffs.

During the reception, questions were addressed not only from local residents but also from citizens of neighboring rural areas—regarding social security, employment, healthcare, land matters, and taxation. Participants received specific answers and consultations.

Over 100 residents were received in Zhosaly settlement, and more than 70 residents in Zhanazhol village.

As part of the campaign, legal norms currently in force were explained to the public, and relevant recommendations and instructions were given on socially significant issues.

District Prosecutor Meirambek Zhanbyrbayuly stated:

— Violations of the law occur not only at night but also across various sectors. Therefore, our primary goal is to enhance legal awareness and explain legal requirements through such meetings. These personal consultations are very important for directly hearing the people’s concerns and finding effective solutions, — he noted.

The “People’s Lawyer” campaign is held annually across the republic on instructions of the Head of State within the framework of “Law and Order” and aims to provide free legal assistance to citizens.
