Today, a festive event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Children and Youth Sports School No. 16 was held in III International village of Karmakshy district. The event was attended by Deputy Akim of the district Dias Moldabayev, veterans of the field, the school administration and coaches, as well as young athletes.

The celebration began with a performance by young taekwondo athletes.

During the event, Deputy Akim Dias Asylbekuly congratulated the participants on this important milestone, stating:

— As our President noted, “A healthy nation is the key to a strong state.” Thanks to your dedication, the sports sphere in Karmakshy district is rapidly developing, raising champions who serve as role models for the younger generation. I am confident that these meaningful efforts will continue in the future. I wish everyone strong health, family well-being, great achievements and new victories! May the honor of our sports school continue to grow! May the prestige of our country always stand high! — he said.

Founded in 2005, the sports school began its activity under the leadership of international master of sports Almat Kodarypov.

Over the years, the school has trained winners of national championships and prize-winners of Asian and World championships.

During the event, veterans and contributors to the development of the school were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the district akim and commemorative medals marking the 20th anniversary. Special awards were also presented on behalf of the Regional Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism and the District Sports Department.

The anniversary celebration concluded with performances by local artists, creating a joyful atmosphere for attendees.
