The Republican tournament on Kazakh kures among young people born in 2010-2011 has started in Syrdarya district, dedicated to the honor of the honored citizen of the district, Rasul Abutalipovich Yessenov. The tournament will be held from October 31 to November 2, 2025 at the Sports Complex in the village of Terenozek. The competition is held in accordance with the rules approved by the Committee for sports and physical culture of the Ministry of Tourism and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the association "Qazaq kuresi". At the opening ceremony, akim of Syrdarya district Sarmenbayev Berik Abdygapparovich congratulated the participants on the start of the competition and wished them good luck. He noted the great contribution of Rasul Abutalipovich to the socio-economic development of the region, his work for the country, and stressed the importance of the tournament in attracting young people to sports and raising the national spirit. Several teams from different regions of the country take part in the competition, young wrestlers compete among themselves. Competitions among juniors born in 2010-2011 38, 42, 46, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75 and passes in weight categories +75 kg. The tournament was held at a high level, and there was a fierce competition between the participants. Each team defended the honor of their region and received great support from the audience. At the end of the competition, the winners and prize-winners will be awarded with medals, diplomas and cups.
