On April 14, 2025, in Izmir, the first meeting was held between the Consul General of Kazakhstan, Bauyrzhan Akatayev, and the Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye in Izmir, Ms. Yeşim Kebapçıoğlu.

The parties discussed the next steps necessary for the full operation of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan and exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
