Bangkok,12 November 2025 - The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) participated in the sixth meeting of the Working Group on Dry Ports, held at the organization’s headquarters in Bangkok.

Following the meeting, the Working Group endorsed Kazakhstan’s proposal for the official inclusion of two Kazakhstan's logistics terminals in the list of “dry ports” of international importance for the member States of UN ESCAP.

Dostyk TransTerminal LLP and the GLOBAL CITY Trade and Logistics Complex of Alfarukh LLP have demonstrated a high level of compliance with international standards established for terminals within the regional transport corridors of Asia and the Pacific.

Their inclusion in the UN ESCAP Network of Dry Ports will ensure that these logistics centers are reflected in official UN maps and databases, creating new opportunities to strengthen international cooperation, enhance Kazakhstan’s transit potential, and attract investment into the country’s transport and logistics infrastructure.
