In the capital, a mini-football tournament for the Cup of the Commander of Military Unit 3656 of the National Guard was held among the military units of the Astana Garrison.

The competition brought together teams from the Armed Forces, the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Aviation Service of the National Security Committee, the Border Control Department of Astana, as well as the combined team “Guardsman”. A total of 12 teams competed on the field.

After intense and dynamic matches, the results were as follows:
1st place — team of Military Unit 3656 of the National Guard
2nd place — team of Military Unit 5573 of the National Guard
3rd place — team of Military Unit 6636 of the National Guard

In addition, the best players in individual categories were recognized:
Best Goalkeeper — Senior Sergeant Timofey Kiforu (Military Unit 3656)
Best Forward — Major Nurlan Ibragimov (Military Unit 5573)
Best Defender — Nurzhan Utegenov (“Guardsman” team)
Top Scorer — Private Sultonbek Kuchkarov (Military Unit 3656)
Best Player of the Tournament — Private Ansar Igenov (Military Unit 3656)

The tournament served as an excellent opportunity to strengthen team spirit and maintain the physical fitness of the servicemen. It promotes perseverance, mutual support, and the pursuit of excellence — both in service and in everyday life.
