A roundtable discussion «Tourism and Culture: Intersections and Development Prospects» was held at the East Kazakhstan Region Museum-Reserve.

The event was organized as part of the media coverage of the President's Address to the People of Kazakhstan. Tourism and culture intersect, as the modern tourism industry actively draws inspiration from the country's cultural heritage. Traditions, crafts, cuisine, and rituals are becoming the basis for creating new forms of recreation. The goal of the event was to analyze new initiatives in the fields of cultural heritage, tourism, and the Address of the President of Kazakhstan, K. Tokayev.

Speakers: T.U. Dauletov, Deputy Head of the East Kazakhstan Region Tourist Information Center; A.S. Abedzhanova, Tour Guide, Gastrotour.vko Travel Agency; and Sh.M. Karibaeva, Head of the Information and Education Department of the Museum-Reserve. Participants: KAFU students from «Tourism» and «Restaurant and Hotel Business» faculties; as well as teachers and students from the East Kazakhstan University named after S. Amanzholov.
